Studies have shown that cranial sutures (the fibrous joints in the skull) of the temporal bones (the pair of bones on the side of the skull around the ear) exhibit very slight rhythmic motion.

Physical injuries, emotional stresses, and depression can cause this rhythm to go out of balance. Craniosacral Therapy , an offshoot of osteopathy, involves a trained practitioner who feels this motion with a light touch of their hand, identifies these stresses, and gently releases them to balance your system.

CST has been known to help with migraines, headaches, chronic pains, CNS disorders, orthopedic trouble, learning difficulties, emotional difficulties and so on.
